Hi there!

Welcome to my blog, I hope you enjoy reading! The main aim is to try to remove some of the stigma attached to cancer and to raise awareness in an attempt to encourage you to give yourselves a check now and again. I'm also trying to promote health and wellbeing by doing this and give people peace of mind.

There is also information on support offered by various charities etc which I have found extremely helpful. Please contact me with any comments or queries, all are welcome! Instagram and Facebook links below :-) Happy health xxx

Breaking The News

So yep this is happening. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 weeks ago and it's been, quite frankly, totally effing shit. Why is it happening to me, I'm so young, how the hell am I supposed to get through this and mainly, what's going to happen?

Scary biscuits and then some. We've all been touched in some way by cancer and it scares the shit out of us all. The reason I'm posting this is because I want to raise awareness and ask EVERYONE to check themselves NOW! I always have and that's why I'm now in a very positive position where my prognosis is good. I knew there was a change in my breast and got it checked out. I am urging all women to have a feel so that you know what your breasts feel like so that you'll recognise a change and guys, get the hands down the pants! It's too important to ignore so please please do it now, it could make a whole lot of difference.

I'm going to post a pic every day through my journey even on days where I feel a bit crappy because I want to document and show the reality of diagnosis, treatment and the importance of awareness and support of which there is an abundance in my life. I have surgery next week and treatment to follow and positive vibes, love and smiles are most welcome.

Also, as I learn more about this disease, treatments, alternative therapies etc, I will post and if anyone has any advice for me, please share! We're not alone in this xxx
